Data Privacy Policy

Effective Date: 1 April 2026

At Dorro, we use technology to provide our services. This page explains what we store, when we store it, and the control users have over their information.

1. Your Data, Your Choice

We aim to give users meaningful control over their information.

You can use parts of our service without creating an account, where available.

We only save information on an ongoing basis if you create an account or choose a feature that requires storage.

If you create an account, we may store information needed to operate your account and provide the service.

You can request deletion of your saved data at any time, subject to limited exceptions where we are permitted or required to retain certain information for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or operational reasons.

For users covered by applicable state privacy laws, those laws may provide rights such as access, deletion, correction, and opt-out rights in certain circumstances.

2. What Information We Save

If you create an account, we may save information such as:

  • account details,
  • login and authentication information,
  • preferences and settings,
  • content you submit,
  • support requests, and
  • security or service logs.

We only keep information that we reasonably need to provide the service, maintain security, meet legal obligations, and support normal business operations.

3. Deletion Requests

If you have an account, you can also request deletion of your saved information by contacting us at hello@dorro.com.

When we receive a valid deletion request, we will delete information in accordance with applicable law. Some information may be retained where needed for purposes such as:

  • complying with legal obligations,
  • detecting or preventing fraud or abuse,
  • resolving disputes,
  • enforcing our terms, or
  • maintaining security and audit records.

4. How We Use Information

We may use information to:

  • provide and maintain the service,
  • authenticate users,
  • respond to support requests,
  • improve product performance,
  • protect against misuse, fraud, or security threats, and
  • comply with legal obligations.

5. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information.

No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. But we take data protection seriously and apply safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we handle.

6. Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed to children under 13 unless we expressly say otherwise.

If we ever knowingly collect personal information from children in a context where U.S. children's privacy law applies, we will handle that information in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may update the date above and provide additional notice where required.

8. AI Features

Certain features of our product rely, in part, on foundation models from leading AI providers and may update the models we use over time to improve quality, reliability, and alignment. The purpose of this infrastructure is to connect small businesses on our platform and shoppers who may be interested in their offerings, through features such as search, recommendations, summarization, and content analysis, etc.

We aim to minimize unnecessary personal data in AI workflows, use reasonable safeguards designed to protect user information, and evaluate vendors and service providers where appropriate.

AI-generated output may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate for every use case. Users should use judgment before relying on AI-generated output, especially for important decisions.
